STUDY OF VEHICLE OWNERSHIP AND EXPENDITURE ON TRANSPORTATION

Abstract


This paper presents study of limited no. of households and their expenditure on transportation. From this we can analyses that how many households expend on transportation and what are the problems they are facing on public transport and what are the facilities they required at the time of travelling. According to the income group those are having more income expend more on transportation then less income group due this those households having more income are travelling with their own vehicles and due to this the no. of vehicles are increasing and accident rate are increasing, pollution and traffic jams are also increasing, So the households should be given the facilities they required on public transport.
