Analysis and Design of Transmission Tower

Abstract


Transmission Tower carry electrical transmission conductor from ground at safe height. The objective of paper is to find most economical section of tower and it configuration as per Indian Standard Code. In this paper the comparatively study is conducted with axial forces, deflection, sectional properties, loading between two types of bracing system X and K. The transmission tower height of 50m and base width 8.50m.
