Structural Behavior of Bubble Deck Slab

Reetika ., Md Anzar Rabbani, Sitender Chhilar

Abstract

Concrete is dense, and 5% of the world’s CO2 is formed during the manufacture of the cement that goes into it. Then there is the aggregate that is dug out and the trucks that have to carry it. Not only, but the extreme amount of the concrete that is in a slab isn't even desired; it is just a spacer between the bottom, where the reinforcing steel is in tension, and the top, where the concrete is in compression. Hence in order to satisfy these results Bubble deck slab is one of the most effective slab methods to substitute conservative slab in terms of money and materials. Also, it wants less time to build as related to conventional slab. The present paper focusses on the different Bubble deck slabs, their production and advantages over conventional concrete slabs.
