Abstract

Drip irrigation allows water to drip slowly to the roots of plants thus saving water, nutrients and minimizing evaporation. This study focusses on treatment of contaminated water by reducing biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), eutrophication of water bodies and further using it for drip irrigation.
