Comparative Study on Response of High-Rise Building with Normal Framing, Transfer Girder and Transfer Floor
Abstract
The rapid developments in the modern infrastructure in the present decades for High rise building requires deep knowledge of architectural and Structural design. To meet the architectural demand and to provide sufficient parking space in high rise building the structural element such as Transfer Floor and Transfer Girder are commonly design. The present research study focus on the behavior of high rise building with Transfer Girder and Transfer Floor. Total six structural models of G+14 storey were created using ETABS computer program three for Linear equivalent static method and three for Linear Dynamic Response spectrum method. All the models were design for seismic zone V as per IS 1893- 2016 (Part-I) with medium soil profile. The main aim of this research is to present a comparative statement of design parameters for this three models. The Response of each model with respect to others will be checked for Base Shear, Overturning Moment, Axial Forces, Shear Force, Bending Moment, Torsional Moment, and Lateral displacement.
