Abstract

This paper presents how to calculate and analysis the rainfall and runoff around Mithi River by various models. There are some previous examines that have been used for valuation of rainfall-runoff. In this research, last 10 years data of rainfall is considered for estimation of runoff around Mithi River. In this study rainfall intensity, land coverage pattern, catchment area around Mithi River is also considered for calculation. Various methods such as Khosla method and rainfall-runoff correlation method are use for estimation of runoff around Mithi River to estimate the flood.

Keywords: Rainfall-runoff analysis, khosla method, rainfall-runoff correlation method, and mithi river
