DETERMINATION OF MEAN VELOCITY OF FLOW USING FINITE DIFFERENCE METHOD
Abstract
The values of hydraulic parameters such as Channel slope, Discharge of flow, Mean depth of flow and Mean velocity of flow are obtained in laboratory observations.
And the value of mean velocity of flow is obtained using the finite difference method.
The comparative analysis is done between the theoretical and practical observations to check the applicability of finite difference method to arrive at the Mean velocity of Flow.
