Abstract

Using the technology based on AMAP Web API, the primary traffic data such as the locations of physical bus stations and route directions were captured, and the bus GIS database was established in TransCAD which was used to analyze the accessibility of urban public transport networks. The secondary development function of GISDK was used to create a public transport accessibility evaluation system. Taking the public transport network of four districts in Shanghai as an example, the various accessibility indicators were analyzed, and the online map was used to verify the accuracy and reliability of the accessibility evaluation system. The results show that the urban public transport accessibility evaluation system developed using TransCAD’s GISDK can accurately calculate the public transport accessibility evaluation index within the acceptable error range.
