Review on Seismic Behavior of Structure with Transfer Floor and Transfer Girder: a Finite Element Static and Dynamic Analysis

Shaikh Imran Shaikh Afser, R. M. Sawant

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The construction of high-rise buildings has presented the engineers with various challenges like the provision of gathering halls and parking floors accompanied with residential apartments and hotel suites on the next floors. This provision requires different column positioning on different floors. For construction of these structures with vertical irregularities, transfer floor or transfer girder is provided between these different column arrangements. This paper aims at studying "seismic analysis of multistory buildings with transfer floor and transfer girder", at the end observations are listed for further studies.
