Abstract

In Engineering Programme, soil stabilizations very much important for gaining proper knowledge about ground improvement. Ground improvement technique is one of the challenging task involving inputs from geotechnical engineering sector. In our project, we had to go through different techniques for improving the engineering characteristics of the ground. Through this project an endeavor attempt was made to improve the ground using bamboo as a reinforcing material for flexible pavement considering the factors, viz. economy, comfort and safety to achieve the maximum functional aspect and efficiency. This project work is of great help to us as it served us with the knowledge of geo-techniques.
