Scrap Steel Fiber Reinforce Concrete

Abstract


The research mentioned on this paper turned into finished to look at the feasibility of the usage of metal scrap received from lathe system in fiber bolstered concrete via way of means of checking the compressive strength, and flexural strength of M20 concrete and consequently optimizing the fiber proportions. In this look at, a contrast has been made among undeniable cement concrete and metal scrap fiber bolstered concrete (SSFRC). The consequences of exams carried out on SSFRC having exceptional share of metal scrap (i.e. 0.5%,1%,1.5%,2%) via way of means of weight of cement has been taken into account.: Compressive Strength, and flexural strength of SSFRC is observed to be maximum with 1.5% quantity fraction of metal scrap fiber.
