Utilization of Advance Geopolymer in Concrete: A Review

Abstract


Climate change has several adverse impacts like changes in weather, untimely rains, depleting water, droughts, flash floods, acute and early summer and chilling winter. Equally, another bigger challenge to the society is foul smell whether it is river, pond, drain, public toilets or garbage dump yards. It is due to emission of hydrogen sulphide, methane and other toxic gases. Methane in pure form does not create any foul smell, however when mixed with other gases, it emanates foul smell. These gases in turn affect air, food and water resulting deterioration of human health and the environment. It is a silent killer polluting the area, poor air quality, rise in temperature, breeding of mosquitoes and flies resulting in more cases of malaria, dengue and chikungunya, respiratory problems etc. In the experimental investigation Jag Padania bio-solution is used for bio-remediation. It is a eco enzyme a complex bio-solution produced by fermentation of fresh kitchen waste. It is the application which makes it innovative and effective. A unique success is achieved in removing foul smell and BOD from drains, ponds/lakes, STPs/ETPs, garbage dump yards etc in the shortest possible time of 3 to 20 days.
